My favorite place to shop in South Korea is Dongdaemun Market in Seoul because it's so big. There are about 30 shopping malls and thousands of small stores selling clothes, shoes, electronics, CDs, housewares .. . just about everything! It's a great place to buy traditional Korean gifts, too. Things are usually cheap because you can bargain.
